4.1/5 based on 180 reviews on the web
Visit Stonehaven Beach for thrilling water sports, picturesque beach views, and friendly local canines. While the often-cold waters may not inspire a leisurely swim, the long stretch of sand and pebbles makes for a great stroll. Grab an ice cream from one of the cafes if the weather is warmer. The location is one of three beaches in the area where endangered giant leatherback turtles lay their eggs between March and June.
