We visited this Saturday. Yes it's not the ritz but there isn't anything I would pick to complain about. Lifeguards seemed to be very on the ball, even checking the age of children plus their swimming... more »

We came from Kent visiting Stoke, and the boy wanted to go to Waterworld. Having paid an extortionate £3.50 parking fee, our entrance fees totalled another £42. Then they expect you to top up a plasti... more »

Great place to visit with the family. We had a lovely day, the kids thought it was awesome. Cafe staff were extremely helpful. We booked in advance online with the meal deals included. We used the express check in which all work really well. This was our first visit during half term school holiday so we fully expected the park to be busy. We had three adults, three boys (ages 6, 7 & 8) and one girl age 4 (only non swimmer)in our group. While I don't doubt that the lifeguard to swimmers ratio was at the legal level during our visit, the water park was so packed that we didn't feel the kids were safe in the water without constant very close supervision and we were anxious because it was easy to loose when not in the water because of the amount of people. All the boys in the group can swim and we fully expected to supervise closely but the sheer numbers packed into the park tainted the experience. While there was enough lockers for all, there wasn't enough communal space in the changing area for people to move around generally and get access to the lockers. The changing cubicles were dirty (wet dirt from shoes, swim nappies and other bits discarded on the floor), there were light bulbs out which made it dark inside the changing cubicles while trying to get dried and sort the kids out. Overall the park is awesome fun but sadly the grown ups in the group felt 'stressed and anxious' due to the sheer numbers in the place which felt more like a crowd you'd have at a 'music gig' than what you expect at a water park.
Good pool good fun and some good rides. Limited opening of outdoor pool and the rapids is now only a gentle swirl of water as they won't pay for repair of the third pump. Expensive parking and 160 pound fine if you go 1 minute over your stay.
Good fun day out. It was a busy day but it didn't feel like the queues were too long. It was a little cold in places, especially for toddlers, but I'm sure it would be perfect on a summer's day. Parking is£3. Lockers are free and people were waiting for lockers to be vacated as we left. I would recommend it for a few hours fun.
Great time, once again! Got there early, used fast track service and managed to use most of the slides straight away, before it got crowded. The waiting time isn't that bad even when it is busy! Car park £3, lockers are now free. Love the place, especially as you can have a Subway (inside building) after your fun!
There were a lot of slides and pools to choose from however it was the little things that reduces the appeal for me. You can't take any food or water or drinks into the pool area but the queue for a sandwich took 45 minutes go get through. Don't expect to be able to use any of the pre-installed hair dryers as none of them worked. The showers only stay on for 8 seconds ( I'm not sure how you are supposed to get clean in that time). Other than that we had a great half day there and kids didn't want to leave. There was only 1 slide for someone under 90cm and 2 for kids less than 1.1m. Best for over 8 year olds who are more than 1.1m tall.
