  • A wonderful way to get up close to the animals. Lovely to see them thriving and enjoying themselves outside and free to roam in the massive enclosure. The monkeys are fed roughly every hour and the staff give informative talks and information. There are also many plaques around the park about the monkeys explaining about their lifestyle and habits. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and was quite reasonably priced. There is also a playground, shop and cafe on site for refreshments although you are not allowed to take food into the enclosure.
  • So much fun! The monkeys are great, beautiful surroundings. Really impressed by the knowledge of the staff and how they look after the monkeys. Happy that the monkeys aren't in cages. Second time I've been and will go again.
  • Great opportunity to see Barbary Macaques up close but, if you're like me, you might get a bit bored by the lack of variety. I'd prefer a zoo with more animals as the cost is pretty much the same. Although there are 68 acres of forest you'll find yourself restricted to a small area and fortunately this is where the majority of monkeys seem to reside. Guides are knowledgeable and feeding times are regular. The playpark is quite small but suitable for younger children. The cafe is clean and the selection of food is varied although expect high prices. £5 for a baguette, jacket potato etc. £2.50 a drink. Good for 2 hours or so but it's not a day trip.
  • Great place to visit although a little short lived. Lovely place to walk around with monkeys roaming free and in touching distance (although you're not allowed to for safety reasons). Feeding time show is quarter past the hour. Small cafe on site selling basics like sausage and chips, plus a small playground outside for young children. You could stretch it out to 3hrs but certainly not a full days entertainment. I recommend visiting trentham gardens opposite if that is the intention.
  • Good place to take kids as they can walk around without any barriers between them and the monkeys. Great staff who have good knowledge of the monkeys and proactively interact with the visitors answering questions. Regular feeding times and talks by the staff too. It doesn't take too long to walk around the area that the monkeys are in, but you can linger all you like. Once outside, there is a play area for the children and a restaurant. The visit can be extended by a walk into nearby Trentham gardens.
