  • Fantastic day out for kids of all ages. We arrived at 11.30 on a Saturday found plenty of parking. Only queued for about 5 minutes to pay. £8 for each adult and free for the under 3. Staff are very helpful and informative and there are plenty of them around. All paths are wide with ample room for pushchairs wheelchairs etc. One word of warning is there are some very steep parts of the path where care and time may have to be taken. The are over 130 monkeys roaming around amongst these were 6 babies and another dozen very young monkeys today. Feeding times are interesting and informative. There is a big picnic area and also another area by the restraunt with tables and chairs. Also a small child's play area and trampolining too. The monkey shop is also worth a visit. From my point of view can't think of any negatives. 10 out of 10. Will recommend to anyone.
  • absolutely loved it defo going again. went with 2 kids 3 & 9 they loved it. seeing them so close in their natural way of living. brilliant friendly staff and even though we had traffic delays and only had a little while there £8 for an adult BARGAIN I could sit there all day watching them
  • We've been twice and had incredible experiences each time at the monkey forest! There are two main areas where the monkeys tend to congregate, but wonder around the whole of the grounds. It's well worth stopping to listen to the feeding times because you can learn such a lot about them. There is so much for children to enjoy, and there is also a playground, shop and cafe on site.
  • Surprisingly enjoyable destination - even for someone who wouldn't normally care much for monkeys. The fact that they roam freely and live in their natural social groups makes this a different experience to that of a zoo. The guides are very friendly and the monkeys are very used to visitors. There's probably not enough stuff for a whole day's interest but together the the Trentham gardens, its a good day out.
