  • Great museum to explore the history of potteries and art. Lots of different sections to explore and a small shop at the front for gifts and souvenir. There are also different activities for children hidden with the museum.
  • Been going since I was tiny and still love it. Plenty to see and do free to enter. Some special events in the auditorium that require payment but the events I've been to were well priced and good fun
  • A lovely museum which has sadly missed out on refurbishments or replacements of interactive exhibits in the past 15 years. The child friendly, hands-on areas consist of very tatty, worn and broken toys and dress-up tabards which is a shame as the interactive aspect set it apart from many museums.
  • This place is in bad need of investment. some of the exhibits are quite interesting but really do need updating. Not a place to visit with children at all unless you are pat of an organised group like a school trip etc.
  • Great museum. Lots to see and a lovely cafe serving good hot and cold drinks and food.
