  • The museum is laid out very well and easy to get around especially as there is so much information to take in. The art gallery is small but interesting to see the work by some of the local artists.
  • Love going to visit various art exhibitions held here throughout the year. Also the cafe here is very good with lovely homemade cakes etc. Nice atmosphere for a quite coffee or lunch.
  • ... really engaging and interesting museum - lots to see - does help if you have a local interest. A good cafe - reasonably priced. Worth a visit.
  • An absolute gem of a museum. Very localised displays in here give a great outlook on the history of Forth Valley with some special exhibits like the world's oldest football and foot xray machine. I love popping in, it's nice and relaxed with excellent visiting exhibits from out of town too. They have a beautiful garden too with some interesting exhibits on the outside. Free parking for visitors around the side is a nice bonus too.
  • A delightful little gallery and museum in Stirling. Was there to see the fantastic Norman McLaren exhibition which was so well researched and displayed. A brilliant piece of the city's history being shared in this museum, right across the road from where the filmmaker grew up. Perfect. The staff were lovely and so engaged with the building, it felt that the genuinely were glad you were visiting and wanted to share their exhibits with the public. Also stopped in the cafe for some great coffee and cake. Great.
  • Very good display of local history and the cafe is great
  • Its easy to forget how beautiful this area is when you are born and bred here. Fantastic Place, Fantastic atmosphere and Glorious surroundings!!!
  • Took my son here for his birthday. It was a good day out but not really my cup of tea.
