  • This site is on the road from Stirling to Crianlarich. It's a stunning drive and well worth the trip. The whole area is Rob Roy McGregor territory. If you've done a bit of research the whole site will...  more »
  • Personally I could have done without this visit. It is in pretty country. But it was a heavy rain when we visited and really....it was just an outdoor grave that is contested whether he is buried ther...  more »

  • Been there with my son, a couple of years ago. As in the whole of Scotland, it is like riding through history. And it rained cats and dogs when we were there.... One becomes part of their history, and I had the same feeling of deep respect for their courage as I had when I stood on the beaches of Normandy, one year later. Brave men, in a truly beautiful country..
  • We were visiting Scotland from England and wanted to see the resting place of one Scotland heros. Very peaceful. I am English and it gave me a tingle I am sure the locals would feel a lot more.
  • Stopped here on my travels, such a peaceful place, paid my respects to Rob Roy and family buried here, and looked around the old church ruins and graves as well, just down the road is a great photo opportunity as well, the bridge that crosses the river, nice reflections and very surreal. All up a beautiful place and filled with history.
  • Well as this page and information relates to me and my family. I find it nice to be able to have look around and get a feel for the place. I have to say I've not seen many places more beautiful. When I have the chance I will visit in person and given the opportunity I could see myself living in this most idyllic of spots.
  • Wonderful photo opportunities throughout the graveyard.
