  • Wonderful, especially in late spring. A relaxing and beautiful garden.
  • Huge thank you to John and Vanessa for a very pleasant morning spent learning about keeping poultry. Even though I started keeping chickens 4 years ago I still learned lots of useful tips and I was particularly looking forward to visiting the resident birds and having a hands-on experience and I wasn't disappointed! Such a delightful place to visit aside from attending the courses (I also attended a course on growing your own vegetables, which was equally as useful) - I look forward to coming back! Gail Richmond
  • A hidden gem! Went last year and was surprised at how much there was to see. Was a little tricky to find and shame it's not open more often but an absolute delight to walk round. I would advise to bring cash if visiting as their card machine was a little historic and wasn't working when I was there. Great nursery too with a good and unusual choice of plants for sale. A beautifully tranquil place that I'm looking forward to visiting again this year.
  • Beautiful. A natural garden which feeds all senses- sight, the sound of water and birds and taste- lemon drizzle cake. Yum! A place to lift the spirits. cash is essential for the cafe/card shop.
  • I am sorely disappointed with our, attempted, visit to Stillingfleet Gardens. The gardens are not open very often and the reception is cold and uninviting. I've not had a chance to go there yet but won't be making a trip to try again. I'd suggest they think about a guest's first impression of their location and the likelihood of a return visit when they greet them and the many, many dates that they are not open (August had 5 weekends - 2 open, 3 not). And think about what they hope to achieve in their the only message I got was we might want your business but not that much. Too exclusive for their own good. So I'd suggest to other visitors, if you live nearby and want to try, then it is no skin off your nose but for anyone who has to travel any distance, save your petrol!
