  • Stop at the car park opposite Big Verns and cross the road into a little slice of peace. Watching geese and ducks along with Marh harriers, nesting in the reeds!  more »
  • Free entrance with the wetland in view, its got a few activities for the kids to have a go at, theres cameras for you to play about with and you can zoom in and out and watch the screens.  more »
  • Tucked away, as probably a hide should be, we drove past this first time around! But well worth turning around for. Really well done and great for kids.  more »

  • Great attraction, with attention to detail and thought for the kids. Good learning centre. Control the video camera, use binoculars or draw pictures. Well worth a visit for 1 hour.
  • Very attractive place for families or adults only. The view of the birds and the explanations provided on the local allow learning more and makes an overall good experience.
  • A Museum with more Information than expected and with a good view to the lake
  • Could be better if binoculars were able to give a slightly closer view of the lake, but overall a very interesting place to visit.
  • An informative bird hide but on a quiet day not much to see. Check out the NT website for some nice walks in the area.
