  • We arrived too late: the House of Victor Hugo was closed on 27 September. Beware, check before you leave! Disappointed but this makes us want to come back...

  • Great look into the world of Victor Hugo. Very knowledgeable guide. Worth the £8.. Gardens are free 😎
  • On a cruise call in St Peter Port, and decided to visit. So glad I did: the interior is quite wonderful, not at all as you might expect from the outside - like stepping into another world. Lovely knowledgeable French guide with a real commitment to the house which she wanted to share with us. Highly recommended - whether you know Victor Hugo's work or not.
  • Because it's very imposing and big. Thé décoration is older and it's very vert beautiful.
  • The entrance to the garden is free. Great view of Castle Rock and our ship.
  • Victor Hugo house and little garden; nice view, nothing special.
