  • Went with my wife to tour the Castle and grounds and to hear and see the firing of the noon day canon. Castle has several themed museums housed within it's walls. A little expensive at £10 adult or £9...  read more »
  • Very interesting old castle with various different museums which were very well laid out. Views from the castle were great and pleasant coffe shop.
  • We had little time but the museums were well and imaginatively presented and we learned a good deal about Guernsey history and prehistory as we walked through.
  • If you've never been before, or not for a few years, you really should visit. One of the islands few really interesting attractions and hosts some really nice (and free) outdoor music and food events in the summer. These are a must if you get the chance. There are not many events like this in the island, so don't miss visiting if you get the chance. Oh, and they fire a cannon from the ramparts each day at noon during the summer.
  • Awesome old castle, lots of events happening and a decent shop, café and museum.
  • A really great day out! There was so much to learn about there, and the real cannon firing was cool
  • Well worth a visit.
  • I was on a day trip to St Peter Port but the weather wasn't great so I headed straight to the castle and found it to be an interesting site. Much like others around the British Isles, it's well restored and informative. Definitely glad I went to escape the rain.
