  • Even in March a garden well worth a visit with many sculptures. A well laid out trail around the "sub tropical" garden with a variety of pools, plants and chatty ducks  more »

  • There were a few bits and pieces in the gardens and outside areas that were available without the entrance fee to the house. Though the tea room was impressive with the huge vine growing away inside. Big shout out to the copper works, there was some serious impressive skills on show.
  • I have had a total of 8 week long breaks in the 2 characterful holiday flats available to rent at Sausmarez Manor. A welcoming and peaceful place to unwind. Interesting and historic manor house and garden. Gift shop, coppersmiths, tea room, miniature railway and golfing facilities on site.
  • Pretty little place. Didn't go inside the manor house but the grounds are beautiful with some lovely sculptures. The coppersmith was really interesting.
  • The last time I went to Sausmarez Manor was a long time ago, I decided to take my nephew today and there is literally nothing to do! The train isn't running and the person running the coffee shop apparently had to leave for an appointment and won't be back until 10am tomorrow! The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because my nephew loved the ducks; even though there's no longer seeds available to feed them.
  • A relaxing place to stay with generous on site hosts, varied on site opportunities, both cultural and fun, and a location which is handy for south coast bays and St Peter Port. Local village shops within walking distance too. Peter Farrell
