  • I would like to inform people that this museum is closed until 2017 as it is being altered. I am writing this to inform people who are planning to visit to change their idea.
  • The Norris Museum is renowned within St Ives Cambs. It has a wealth of local information going back to prehistoric times. Wonderful break from a busy day in the quite atmosphere for a few hours.

  • Great little Museum - Staff and Helpers are very friendly and helpful. Closed for major renovation and upgrade at the moment. Should be great when it opens up again
  • Went their specifically because we saw a article in the local newspaper that there was a exhibition about prints. The exhibition itself was nicely put together and very interesting despite its small scale. The buildings entrance is from a small gothic door at street front and leads you through into a small garden like courtyard then into the main building. Its interesting as it makes you feel like you are literally discovering the building with hidden entrance etc. And therefore feels like a very personal environment. I think that is very much the appeal; an intimate space where you can explore things without intrusion or interruption.
  • It's quite small but there's lots to see and read about and stuff for kids to do too.
