Where to stay in St Ives

A guest room along one of the cobbled Victorian streets, such as Fore Street, provides access to pubs, restaurants and the harbor. For spectacular views over the sea, consider a hotel near the water. Book harborside lodging early because seaside rooms fill up fast, especially during the holiday season. Inland from the southern coastline, renovated shepherd's huts and cottages provide shelter among the hills.

  • Excellent beach with lush sand. Watch the pesky seagulls though. Beach is situated right next to St Ives train station and is just 5 minutes walk from St Ives centre.  more »
  • I've been visiting this beach since 1965. It's the best beach in the world for a family enjoying the sun. The cafes and ice creams are a bonus. I have never rated 'crazy golf' as a form of entertainme...  more »
  • This is one of Cornwall's nicest beaches, with plenty of room to spread a blanket and chairs, and with food and beverage service restaurant in back. Usually kind of breezy, and the water is VERY cold,...  more »

  • A nice walk down to this beach, there was some nice seating by it as well to sit. :-)
  • Lovely atmosphere and very beautiful. Public toilets are clean.
  • Beautiful beach with good facilities
  • Amazing beach but if you must eat on the beach please beware of the seagulls. More cheek than Oliver Twist.
