  • An impressive statue that is well hidden by trees until you are almost upon it. A short pleasant walk uphill gets you to it. Worth the effort.
  • Small carpark and 10 mins walk along woodland path to the statue rewards you with fabulous views of the Tweed Valley and nearby hills. Info boards give background history of William Wallace.

  • Worth a pause for a photo on a Sunday afternoon walk. More caricature than lifelike statue.
  • This big old statue is tucked away, off the beaten track. It is rather impressive.
  • A nice hidden gem here in the Borders. This is a beautifully done statue to a great man that means a lot to the region. The hike from the car park was quite lovely and the kids enjoyed running the trail.
  • Nice walk up to the statue and great views from there. Well worth a gander.
  • It is well worth taking the time to stop visit this William Wallace Statue if you're passing. It's only a very short walk from the car park. It is however just a little overgrown around it. You'll have a job sometimes to get a good photograph.
