Where to stay in St Austell

Unless you want to use St. Austell as a base for exploring the area, consider staying in the picturesque Charlestown or a nearby beach town that boasts better views. St. Austell doesn't offer much to visitors beyond its proximity to nearby attractions and day-trip destinations. If you choose to stay here, there are a few local accommodations, including independent apartment or room rentals. However, the best options are in the harbor area of Charlestown. If you would prefer to stay along the Cornish Riviera, head to Carlyon Bay, Duporth, or Porthpean.

  • Can't put into words how good they are and how helpful every one is, lou a top salesperson on the phone and Scott the rep top draw Cheers
  • I haven't been there. But you could have loco number. It should be 01726 ant NOT 0345 stupid number
  • Amazing experience at the visitor centre, visited to do the interactive tour and we were treated to a guided tour around the visitor centre, the bottling plant and shown some of the history of the brewery and a thorough overview of the whole brewing process. Guide Pat was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and was really engaging and made the experience all the better. Finished off with a beer tasting/sampling covering most of their range, which was fantastic and probably better enjoyed by non drivers! Food in the Hicks bar looked really good although sadly we didn't have time to try it ourselves. If you are in the area (and you like beer) you will not be disappointed.
  • My mate and me had a guided tour We're both big fans of real ale, we both enjoyed our behind the scenes tour of how it's made, loved the tasting session at the end, sadly we were both riding motorcycles so couldn't properly enjoy it Proper Job 👍
  • A very welcoming team and a great set up. If you have any interest in beer, how it's made or how many varieties there are then this is a must see. Add the excellent food and service and no visit to st austell should go by without a visit. Just designate a driver or walk so you can experience the products!!
