  • Really nice, privately run gardens. Large areas of meadow and lake, some reminders of old mining past. Also several formal gardens packed full of great plants and sculpture. Good paths throughout. Nice cafe/coffee shop, garden shop, easy parking just off main road.
  • Superb discovery of a garden we never realised was so spectacular! Now we're telling everyone we know. Go there soon... its truly amazing!
  • Small but cute little park with a nice lake to sit by and watch the birds.
  • More peacef and quieter than Eden. Nice tranquil place for adults and kids, as plrnty to meander and explore at one's own leisure.
  • Lots of tasty treats to be discovered here. From healthy lunches to delicious cakes and specialist teas, there's something for everyone. It can get noisy on a busy day though.
