Kingsbarns Golf Links, St. Andrews

(4.5/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Ranked in the top 60 courses in the world and top 20 in Europe, Kingsbarns Golf Links sports 18 well-maintained holes, all with views of the North Sea. The course was built in the early 2000s and reflects a more American golf style rather than traditional Scottish links. Caddies offer information about each hole and advice about each shot. This site is a must for golf-enthusiasts--the price reflects the quality of the course and service. Stop and relax at the clubhouse, enjoy a drink, and watch other golfers complete the 18th hole. • One of the best golf courses in Scotland (my personal favourite). Stunning links course. Challenging but not punishing for higher handicaps. Great clubhouse too and excellent hire club service if you need it.
  • This is quite simply one of Scotland's great golf courses. visually stunning, and a treat to golf. It is a brilliant modern links, opened in 1999/2000, and has fast become a must play for golfers from across the world and now plays host to the European Tour's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and will be the venue for Women's British Open in 2017.
  • Great golf course immaculate conditions however extremely unhelpful and quite rude staff. Told I had to leave my table as a large group of Korean tourists needed it. After paying £200 for a round per person this was very poor.
  • One of the best courses I have played in Scotland. I have played 10 courses in Scotland and England that have all had The Open Championship, and I enjoyed Kings Barns every bit as much as the others. Will be back soon!
  • We golfed a 5 star package thru Perry golf.Old course, new course,Gullen #1& 2,north berwick, Craigielaw, balconies links, and Kingsbarns.kingsbarns,we all agreed and every golfer on our two week trip agreed Kingsbarns deserves a 5 star rating.
