  • Nice place to escape on a Saturday afternoon for a tea and some biscuits or to buy some freshly baked bread. This place has also a little "museum" about the past history and the role this watermill had within the local community. Outside the building, crossed the river, there is a very old but still functional oil engine, which power up the mill. It was interesting to understand that back in time, when there were some power cuts, this engine alone was able to power up the St Albans area.
  • Interesting to spend a half hour looking around with the kids. Steps are steep so may not want to bring too toddlers to.
  • Lovely small mill with friendly folks. Great to explore with the kids while taking a lazy stroll through the village fields.
  • Lovely little water mill with very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend visiting on Saturday morning and picking up a couple of fresh specialty breads. Yum!
