Fine red-brick house, dating from 1700, with Victorian walled gardens and cosy tea-room. Gunby Hall has been described as a large doll's house nestled in an idyllic spot at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Gardens and tea-room open daily; house open Saturday to Wednesday (closed Thursdays and Fridays) from 21 March until beginning of November. Free for National Trust Members.

  • Loved it. The gardens are spectacular even in autumn - the apple trees are hurting with fruit! Had a great time!
  • Fantastic house, great helpful staff and keep an eye out for their themed days as they are well worth a visit!
  • Interesting family visit. Lovely friendly staff and some lovely photo opportunities.
  • Cracking day out if anyone fancies it. The help keeps letting people in my hot tub area though - want to clamp down on that.
  • Just the gardens open when we went, but very nicely presented and I got to play some croquet on the lawn!
