  • I have been taking my children to this swimming pool for years and have to say as a fun family pool it is excellent, probably not for serious swimmers however they do have swimmer only sessions, but if you have children the pool depth starts at zero and gets deeper the further you go in, so even great for toddlers, it has a great wave machine that comes on ever 20 minutes or so and a water slide, great fun for the family
  • Plenty going on. Great facilities and staff
  • Lovely place for children to learn to swim and enjoy, however trying to get incontact with the reception is a nightmare every time! It takes me atleast an hour to speak with to someone to see if yous are open..
  • We use this leisure centre often as my daughter attends the 'pink gym' there weekly for the gymnastics club, which is really good. It also has the best leisure pool in the north east with a gradual beach style entry, slide and wave machine. The only problem is the shallow part is not that big and often gets overcrowded when the family sessions are on, even though the deeper part is not crowded at all. It would make sense if I could take my child into the deeper part to give more space for practicing to swim, but she can't as a non swimmer even though she would be with me. Overall a great swimming ruined by typical local government's ridiculous policies.
  • Lovely pool, and very warm. Hot showers but at pool side
