  • Interesting small museum with very friendly staff. Lots of beautiful clocks to see and we learnt all about the talking clock that we remember using when growing up. Some lovely watches to look at as.....  more »

  • Interesting visit for anyone interested in clocks, watches and timekeeping. I spent about 1.5 hours here but this included the speaking clock presentation. Staff very helpful. Decent wheelchair access & parking. No lift to 1st floor but ground floor contains quite a lot of exhibits. Tearoom fantastic but you wouldn't say it was cheap.
  • I was taken here as a surprise. Very friendly guides, lovely welcoming and a great talk about "The Talking Clock". A variety of time pieces from over the years. The only thing I would have liked more is if every clock had more information to it, some didn't have any info. Still, I would highly recommend and the cafe is fantastic!!!!!
  • Covers the history of timekeeping. Lots of interesting exhibits. Volunteer guides very enthusiastic. Free entry and free carpark. Very nice teashop.
  • Lovely evening listening to some classical music. Bought picnic and beverage and relaxed in the sunshine.
  • About clocks, watches and any other time pieces including TIM -- the talking clock -- 3 generations actually. Find out gems like the first talking clock woman had to have her teeth filed to stop her from whistling on the recording. Also the expected cafĂ«.
