  • The current state of the Park surprised me in that it is very well maintained by the House Team and is a credit to their work - well done.
  • We went in Jan when it was cold and frozen but it's still a really nice place. Plenty of space for kids to run around in and a nice park area too. The big lake in the middle is fun for feeding ducks a...  more »

  • We love a quiet walk around the park choosing a selection of paths and usually ending up at the play area with our boys. Family friendly park and popular with dog walkers alike. You can get a coffee and ice cream there too.
  • Loved it. Was quiet and calm. Kids area was great for my 6 year old. Crazy golf was fun too even if it was a little short.
  • First visited this park 30 years ago and returned yesterday. I noticed that the Council isnt maintaining the park as well as it used to, but still enjoyed the lake, fountains and rose gardens. Hesketh park remains a nice place to visit on a Sunday afternoon.
  • Great for wildlife, great for walks. My dog takes me there as often as he can.
  • Great park for families, young and old. Large play area for kids of all ages and large lake for walking. Plenty of hidden areas of the park give it an enchanted feel. Could do with some areas of improvement such as bringing back the flowered clock border and investment in the observatory but investment has been made in the lake and green house.
