  • A very nice park that has started to get back to the way it was a few years ago. Good children's play area. Lovely flowers throughout. Tree's have been pruned accordingly. Well worth a visit.  more »

  • Great to take the children the play areas cater for all ages. Walking playing eating or relaxing plenty of free parking and just a nice day especially for little ones. The park now sell plants which helps fund the volunteers who get and plant the beds around the park. I get plants here every year and always good quality and very cheap
  • the flower beds are gorgeous a real credit to the volunteer team against a backdrop of beautiful shubery and tall established trees.the lake and old Victorian bridges add to the picture not to mention the large playground for children of all ages. There are two large cafe s there also to provide refreshments and food.great pleasure from our many visits there.Well worth visiting! !!
  • We visited here on a sunny day and didn't have time to explore it all. We walked across the bridge over the small lake. Which was nice. There were some birds in aviary pens. We had a drink in the cafe. Also in the tropical house with palm trees and other plants it was very warm. Steps up so you could see from above. There are brass band playing on Sunday afternoons in June

  • I wouldn't call this a Botanical Garden. It's just a park. Pleasant place. Feels like it's been 'let go' to some extent.
