  • Attended the Rod Stewart concert on 10/06/16. Rod was brilliant but organisation and marshalling were abysmal. All toilets blocked and overflowing by the interval. Fights breaking out in overlong queues and nothing being done by stewards. Gridlocked exits and non existent marshalls at the end meant queues of over 2 hours for some to get out - shocking! I was going to give 1 star but have given an extra 1 because Rod put on such a good show.
  • So looking forward to seeing Rod in concert again, I can honestly say this was the worse venue I have ever been to for a concert. I agree with all the other comments regarding the terrible organisation and marshalling. I paid extra for a front row seat in block B but did not realise that I would be sitting in a passage way for everyone to pass through. I cannot believe the amount of inconsiderate people who just stood in the way blocking the view, I have problems standing for long periods of time so had to keep seating down. This meant that I could not even see the screens. The stewards were useless in moving people on and were given a lot of abuse when they did try. If I just wanted to listen to Rod I would have saved my money and stayed at home to listen to him on a CD. I also pre booked a taxi for 11.15, due to the roads being blocked taxis were unable to get through I eventually got back to my hotel at 1am, this was an absolute shambles. Many people were arguing over taxis, and it completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable night. Hampshire Cricket Committee you should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this to happen, I understand that this also happened last year at the Barry Manilow concert, and you have not learnt anything, you are just prepared to take the money and do nothing. Also the costs of the drinks were a complete rip off £25 for a very nasty bottle of wine!!!! I do hope people read these reviews in case you ever have the audacity to organise another concert at this venue and this helps them decide not to bother attending. I would like to give less than one star for the venue and amenities, for Sir Rod's performance , from what little I could hear and see, it was a top class show. Just such a shame the venue let it down .
  • Rod Stewart gig a complete shambles.Do not hold any more events you cannot cope with.Parking awful, park and ride awful, stewarding useless.Cost me £200 for tickets, missed the 2 support bands because of the log jam of traffic.Don't suppose they will actually care as they have made a bucketful of money. Do you normally charge £20 for park and ride? or was it because u knew people would pay it!!!Disgraceful
  • Spent a day here in one of the conference suites. Great location for business as the ground has plentiful parking. Hospitality and food was good. Now I just need to come and watch match...
  • Went to see the Sir Rod Stewart Concert. Paid £95 each for tickets so would have good view Concert great Organisation a total shambles. People from the cheaper seats where allowed to come forward and fill the aisles totally blocking our view I could stand and see, my wife a bit shorter could not. What's the point of having different ticket costs when every one allowed to surge to the front. There was lots of angry people due to this They need to section each area off with different colour arm bands. Would not go to this venue again or if I did buy the cheapest ticket and just go to the front. Rod Stewart great Venue total shambles
