  • I really enjoyed touring this museum. There were lots of artifacts and displays. The gift shop was lovely but expensive. We almost didn't get to visit. Found it difficult to find. Only a third effort ...  more »

  • Known for the Titanic exhibition, it is housed in a former police station. Make sure you go to the loo beside the cafe which were former cells. The exhibits focused more on the stories of the crew that were mainly from Southampton - tastefully done with respect. Lacking on actual artifacts but that's fine as they belong where they should be - down with their owners in their last resting place beneath the waves. Seeing the pocket watch was chilling.
  • Nice place to visit once to learn everything about ships connected to Southampton. It is more focused on children. A bit stufffy and dark inside. There is a coin machine, which can turn your penny coin into a beautiful souvenir reminding of Southampton, Titanic, Queen Mary or Spitfire for only one pound
  • Decent Titanic exhibit, lots of details to look at, listen to and read. Also a nice exhibit about immigration to Southampton through personal stories across decades. Downstairs there was a bit random but interesting set of mechanical historic fairgriund "arcade" and "mystic room" machines you could try (for 20 pennies each or so).
  • Good titanic display with some other nice exhibitions. Not a bad price but could put people off. Would be gòod for children as there are lots of interactive features.
  • Great museum. The Titanic exhibit is well thought out and interactive. There were lots of small children here but none looked bored. There's a great exhibit on immigration and how much it has added to the prosperity of the UK.
