  • The Church was built around 1320 and severely damaged in World War 2. It was decided to preserve the ruins as a Memorial. It is in memory of the sailors of the merchant shipping. Inside are monuments to the Titanic crew, the Falklands war and the Merchant Navy. Columns, there's a spoken memories of witnesses and other sound posts. A place of quiet contemplation and absolutely worth seeing. An anchor of the Queen Elizabeth 2 is located in front of the Church.
