with many of the fairground rides and not too expensive, this permanent fun fair is ideal for children and there is something there for the adults as well. If roller coasters are not your thing then m... read more »
On a Friday evening after 5pm it is only £1 a ride which means £30 quid goes a long way and makes a great evening for the kids.
We bought our wrist bands online as it worked out slightly cheaper than buying them on the day. I have to say they were fantastic value the girls went from ride to ride all afternoon and had a ball, w... read more »

In my home town, a lot of time and money has been spent on this place in the past few years. things to do: Laser quest 12 lane bowling alley Pub and carvery Mini driving school for ages 2+ Good fun fair with all the usual rides dodgems, waltzer, rollercoaster ,ghost train 2 New "big rides" each year 3 amusements Crazy golf 4 ice cream shops 3 fish and chip shops
Great place to take the kids or just to walk through on a nice day. Loads of rides for all ages and plenty of places to buy a snack...
Quirky but dilapidated sea side experience, this place could use some new management, or the aid of a serious vc. This place needs your money, whether you'll want to part with it when you get inside is another story. It is however family friendly despite the foul language thrown around here and cigarette butts everywhere, this is south shields after all. There is two indoor arcades a smaller one to the south east of the park that really only serves as a waypoint for the rest of the fair, but the main arcade has a bowling alley inside and a few bandits. There's the ritual play games - get the tickets for the prize theme that extends the arcade but the prizes are really rather naff, the most expensive/top prize you can get (at time of writing) is a knock off Nintendo Wii. All in all, don't expect too much, but you can have a fun day out.
Used to go here as a child and there was always big rides for teens and adults. Now they only bring the bigger rides out for special occasions. Would only recommend to children under 12 at the maximum age!
