  • Great place for every type of relaxation for adults and playing area for kids.. Nice food from the café, duck's in the lake, nice to see people do fishing too...  more »
  • We went yesterday with our three children (8, 3 and 1) and the dog; we had a fab day! Plenty of paths to explore, kids could paddle in the lake, loads of dogs playing. There was so much more we didn't...  more »
  • We have relocated up north, and one of the places I miss most is Black Park. Beautiful at any time of year and it’s so family/pet friendly. Can’t wait to come back and visit. Really miss having it on ...  more »
  • Loads of great walking trails. Really good for bikes too, the part we walked near the lake was mostly flat. Really good for little kids on bikes. We went for the net kingdom run by Go Ape then had a walk around the forest and lake afterwards. Would recommend both!!
  • Parking prices are quite high. A great park. Lovely walks, playground is fenced off so no dogs. A couple of restaurant huts. A massive lake there too which on sunday mornings have boat club, the kids love watching them being radio controlled round the lake
  • Black Park is a stone's throw away from my home. I've grown up seeing all of the developments, like the new Go Ape, coffee shop & adventure playground. It's a great place to take the family & little one's. Also a nice place to walk the dog & feed the ducks when summer arrives. Avoid the parking costs by finding nearby country roads.
  • Great for cycling with long flat routes throughout the spacious park, suitable for children. The lake makes a great to location to stop for a picnic. Large ample Carpark accepts credit card payments
  • The playgrounds were pretty full. And don't get me started on How much GoApe were charging to get into their netted play area. Really sad for the kids to see all the fun nets and walkways only to then have to tell them there was no way we could spend nearly £80 to go and play there.
