  • Very interesting site and informative, friendly staff. Should be even better once they do the improvements planned using lottery funding.
  • I was expecting a whole lot more. The surrounding site is a little run down at the moment but it does have great potential if funding and labour become available. Perhaps those running the venture need tovisit Denver Windmill in Norfolk for some inspiration. That said the unique 8 sail windmill itself was amazing and a tribute to the preservation team. They just need the surroundings to match.
  • Only working 8 sail windmill in the UK perhaps the world. Well worth a visit. Had a guided tour, great guide well worth the money
  • The sails started turning after I arrived and you could feel the power of the wind as the whole building and its machinery reverberated.
  • Fantastic 8 sail, restored windmill. Last one in the country. Visitors can climb the storeies and see the mill in action. Well worth a visit.
