  • A very pleasant surprise for my 70th birthday. Sunday lunch on a two hour casual cruise along the Leeds Liverpool Canal. We were a party of 14, and did not know what to expect food wise. We need not have worried, We had Roast Beef, Roast and boiled potatoes,oodles of seasonal veg's and hot gravy. More then enough to go round, and nicely served. The Apple pie and Ice cream to follow was superb. We were not alone, the boat was full, and everyone seemed to have as good a time as we did. Definitely having a re-visit soon. The locally brewed beer wasn't bad either, the well stocked bar catered for all our needs. Full marks from our party. p.s. Not forgetting the Yorkshire Pud
