  • Interesting about local history
  • I'm not quite sure where the previous reviewer got the idea that the museum was only open for such limited hours, it's actually open from 10am to 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It's also open on Sundays (same hours) between from April to December. It's been like this for quite a few years too. That said, they are right about it being cramped. The museum has a very good selection of local history for the Craven area as well as the internationally important Shakespeare's First Folio. The staff and volunteers are also very knowledgeable and helpful. Just needs more space!
