  • Beautiful and well maintained park with lots of flowers and plants. Kept in a style as only the English can.

  • So lucky to have these wonderful gardens available. The autumnal colours abound now and pass through these gardens with a wonderful walk down the river.

  • Lovely park with a newly refurbished children's play area. The park has a beautiful sunken garden called The Dingle which is a blaze of colour throughout the summer. There's large water pond with fountains and ducks. The park is spacious with the river running along its perimeter. There is a traditional bandstand. Near the Dingle. The park plays host to the famous long running Flower Show (129 years) which is held over 2 days in August each year. The show has many attractions apart from flowers . . Show jumping. Circus acts. Magicians. Military displays. And live music from well known groups.
  • Great place to go and wander along the river Severn. Gardens are beautiful and the is a great play park for the kids. Good places to eat and drink nearby.
  • Great place for a walk, bike ride or a run. Really nice coffee stand too.
  • It's still the same since WW2. Children can play on the extensive grassed area. View the flower gardens. Play area with the usual. Sit by the river. Contemplate whatever.
  • Shrewsbury's Pride!! Feel really lucky to live in a town with such a lovely park. Where do I start? There's the Dingle with its wonderful garden and fountains, , walking by the Quarry and waving to people aboard the Sabrina Ferry, standing by the boathouse bridge to enjoy the fantastic river views, and the brand new playground and splash park, the various concerts and festivals not to mention the annual Flower Show with the awesome fireworks display! and all that located right in the centre of town- Just wow! worth a visit everytime.
