  • Fabulous place to visit, full of nooks and crannies to explore. Awesome views (on a clear day!) Have visited several times over the years with my three sons from when they were small to teenager years...  more »

  • Not to be missed if you are in the area. A lot of climbing but worth it. Caves & tunnels are fascinating.  more »

  • Super place. Very different. Enjoyed every minute. Plenty of walking (and steps) in a natural area. Kids especially enjoyed the caves + caverns. The weather was amazing the Friday we went. Guess it does depend on good weather. Staff lovely and helpful. Our 6 year old had a fabulous adventure. Quite pricey for larger families (we used travel zoo for discount). If you are into shopping centres & amusement parks stay away.....if you like the outdoor life this is just the ticket. PS coffee REALLY good in cafe.
  • A well kept secret...wonderful 3 hour circular walk of discovery through the grounds. Ravines, bridges, caves and tunnels, towers and turrets, woods with plenty of trees to climb and plenty of open space so kids can run around and explore. Best to take a picnic as the cafe has a very limited menu and is on the expensive side. Great day out. Not suitable for pushchairs.
  • I love this place. It's just a really interesting walk. Which i suppose is the point of a folly. The cafe isn't up to much though, so always bring a picnic.
  • Fantastic day out. Well marked out routes and safety advice. Will be going again soon as prices are very good. Highly Recommend. .
  • Enchanting woodland walks with follies around the 3 hour circular route. A real unexpexted delight. Paths are well signed throughout. Would definitely recommend.
