  • Came across this place by accident while searching for somewhere different to take Mollydog. What a find it was. We spent at least 4 hours there and had a fantastic time. Mollydog was extremely exhaus...  read more »
  • We enjoy walking and often go for long walks around our area or along the coastal paths whilst away. We heard about Hawkstone through my partner's work colleague who thought we would enjoy it. We had ...  read more »

  • Was free years ago but now £29 for a 2 adult 2 child family. There is a cafe, tearoom, shop and toilets at the main entrance. There are a choice of walks up to 3 miles. Terrain is not for pushchairs as there are many steps. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leash at all times due to sharp drops in the landscape. Take a torch as the paths inevitably take you into caves. At the Gothic arch there are more toilets and a shop that sold ice cream. You can also see Peregrine Falcons from the Ravens shelf. All in all entry fee worth paying as the park has better facilities, signage and paths than when we previously visited.
  • Expensive to get in but there are online deals to be had. It is still worth a visit as the landscape is amazing and the place has a certain magic. Kids love running about there and it drives their imagination. Could do with a little more signage
  • Fantastic place for the whole family, plenty of stuff to see and do, we go all the time, make sure you take a torch.
  • Great views and walk. Just remember to stretch those calf muscles before all those steps!
  • Absolutely love this place. Great place for a good day's walk, with the added goal of coming across, turrets, towers and caves, very large trees that have been there since Hawkstone hall was built and re-built, and sheer sandstone cliffs. At Raven's cliff one can spot Peregrine falcons and Jackdaws wheeling about. There is a Cafe at the entrance for refreshments. There are 3 walks. One is more strenuos, high steps ect. but there are 2 other shorter easier options. Dogs can be taken there is kept on a lead.
