  • Not even worth the one star rating. Awful place. Shameful. Badly kept. Rubbish every where. Imagine going to a discount store buying all the stuff left over and then throwing it across a few fields/tarmac areas. Then calling it a 'farm'. Animals look tired and felt very sorry for them. Had the misfortune of going for the 'Meerkat experience'. Please, please DO NOT waste your money. An extortionate amount to sit under a small tent while the animals ran around you. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
  • We travelled from london to see our family in Chesterfield. We all went to this farm with young children and paid £5 each and there was 9 of us. It was totally a waste of time and money. It only took us 10 minutes to go around and explore because there wasn't much animals to see. It's badly kept as there is so much rubbish dumped around. We were told that they were selling some of the animals so we thought we can buy a Cockatiel and a member of staff made the boxes up. Suddenly another member of staff walked in to the birds room and said "No No your not selling those birds, no way, no way your not selling them" he was loud and rude and was also making silly hand movements. We were all shocked and was just staring at his weird hand and head movements and the way he was rolling his eyes. We told him that it was not nice to talk to his colleague like that especially in front of customers. He raised his voice and said " I don't care I am the director and I will do whatever I want. Get out of the room you guy's shouldn't even be here." We were shocked and speechless. We left the birds room and when we were outside we said that we will be making a complaint and he said " I don't care I am the director so I will be dealing with it". I am very frustrated and disappointed and will never return. I strongly do not recommend this place. Don't waste your money by going to this place .
  • Not a lot going on here to be honest. Other local farms are better and with free entry. Though the managers/directors attitude made me want to leave this comment. He needs to put him self together and talk to his staff and visitors more politely.
  • Small family farm ideal for a few hours out with small children. Onsite park and climbing activity centre, mini golf, woodland walk, toilets, cafe and plenty on picnic areas. Selection of farm animals to feed and small reptile house. Would recommend taking your own food as cafe prices aren't very cheap. Overall enjoyable few hours out.
  • I visited willow tree farm with my 3 children (aged 5y ,3y & 20mths) it was lovely for them, a woodland walk, play area and feeding the animals. The food was delious and staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again and again. Reasonable priced too. My 3 year old fell in love with their donkey because it kept making funny noises lol. DEFINITELY WORTH A VISIT 👍👍
