  • The pottery has a wide selection of original works by local potters. Some are very expensive, but can be seen as works of art. The surroundings are calm, relaxing and there are plenty of interesting e...  read more »

  • Great little place. Expensive pots that come with high quality. Large sizes too.
  • I bought a couple of rather expensive Armscote Bee pots which, on inspection, looked nothing like the ones publicised on their website. When I complained about it, they responded with a mixture of incredulity and derision, as apparently nobody has ever complained about them. It later transpired, that the pot shown on their website, which incidentally is still there, is no longer being produced; only they had omitted to let the marketing department know. The replacement is certainly not worth having at that price, but, as it is such a palaver to re-pack them and have them picked up, I suggested I could keep them if I could have a small discount. I received no reply to my offer, so I asked for a refund. I was told I would be informed when the pots would be picked up. As I had not heard from them for a couple of weeks, I sent an e-mail asking if they had any idea of the collection date. Again no reply. I finally phoned to ask if they could give me a date. With contempt, I was informed that they could not come specially to collect the pots and had to wait for a convenient time. Somebody will come back to me with the date. Still waiting. Obviously communication is not the firm's strongest point Yours sincerely Dr Patricia Garcia
  • Very friendly family business who clearly put a huge amount of effort and love in each and every single pot they create. I enormously appreciate that every single pot is hand made, to clearly very strict quality control, yet giving it an individual touch. If you appreciate English hand made pottery, this is the place to go... There is also a great café with locally sourced food which is priced perfectly and offers a child friendly and relaxing environment.
