  • A beautiful day out at sherborne's historic castle. A stunning castle set in amazing landscapes designed by the famous capability brown with beautiful herbaceous and shrub borders. A day out for all the family at a good price. Dogs allowed.
  • Uncannily futuristic ancient monument. Designed by Sir Walter Raleigh. Good lakeside walk spoiled by over-tall maginal planting and garish white wedding marquee.
  • Nice Castle! Nice castle, nice gardens, nice restaurant. Unfortunately we have reached it in a day with a car show, and that was a lot of crowd. Check before visiting - a normal day is worh more.
  • Went for a show, so didn't visit the castle as such. Nice big grounds though.
  • Went to "Garden & Crafts" event on front lawns. Didn't go in the castle itself. Wonderful location and interesting event. Good weather helped too!
