  • Regular visitor - popular garden centre - wide choice of plants and gardening advice. Cafe caters for allergies (soya milk etc.) although not alot of choice with cakes. Have exhibited in Butterfly Hou...  read more »
  • I decided to treat my grandparents to a lovely Sunday roast last weekend and it was exactly what I wanted. The food was great and the staff were kind and polite! I would thoroughly recommend.
  • The quality of the plants are excellent as well as the experience of the staff. All plants come with a 2 year guarantee.
  • Very good quality local garden centre with a wide range of plants with a nice secluded cafeteria. Very friendly and helpful staff
  • Using a voucher for my birthday I bought a cymbidium orchid from Castle Gardens who in the past have always been a 'quality' garden centre. It cost nearly £30 and I also bought the spray and a pot. The first stem of flowers died after about a week and the second branch died after 3 weeks and the last little one is nearly over too. Usually these orchids last for about 3-4 months if not longer. I took it back but was told that a bee must have come in and pollinated it...that's nature! when I pointed out that the ones they had left for sale looked a bit jaded too I was told that they too must have been pollinated! so.....don't buy a cymbidium from here as the flowers are already doomed! Not your usual customer care Castle Gardens. I won't be coming back.
  • Huge range, parking on site and friendly staff. I like the aquatic centre too. The coffee shop is great and the Centre Christmas displays are a must-see.
  • Lovely staff and the restaurant is good plus a great little fish shop...but the prices are a bit steep on plants but there is a good variety throughout
  • Another win for their Christmas 2014 show what a delight a wonderland fit for hildren and adults. What I do like about this garden centre is the attention to detail by all the staff, if you have a question on any plant you get an answer. A customer friendly experience from all the staff and the home delivery drivers work really hard placing heavy items where you want them in your garden, none of this sign here and leave you standing. The restaurant is really good and the adjacent water garden area will advise on all aspects of pond life.. This is a day out for all the family . Car parking ,toilets, disabled access,a small quantity of wheelchairs and electric chairs for disabled use, Heavy items carried out to your car .
