  • Really interesting place for a visit. I help run a local photography club and they gave us a private tour, very informative and really warm and friendly volunteers. Definitely worth a visit.
  • A delightful little gem nestled in a beautiful little valley. The restoration work has been sympathetically done and the volunteers are knowledgable and friendly. Just be aware that refreshments aren't really available on site so make sure you take your own.
  • First time there what a little gem How they have regenerated the forge is astounding the guided tour can be long or short. the volunteers were so friendly ask them anything, the time and effort that they put in is something else. Step back in time for a moment you feel you were there it's not a stand there and don't touch museum here you are among'st it all, work shops tools wheels and machinery. Nature walks steam trains bring a picnic. great place will be going again.
  • Great little working museum, run by volunteers. Don't expect a gift shop or fancy coffee shop. Just check on the internet to find out when it's open, bring a drink and a packed lunch and have a great day.
  • Great working museum. Well worth the ¬£3 entry fee. This place is run by volunteers,no fancy gift shop or cafe. I love honesty of this place.
