  • Good museum with interactive exhibits let's children touch and get involved in history love wandering round the park area and seeing the ducks and great to give kids some free roam. Cafe is nice but often busy but picnic area upstairs has loads of space and even provides high chairs and is always clean
  • Lovely park, well maintained. Shame the pond is so scummy you can barely see the fish. Western park is a favoirite place for picnics and a wander. Parking is atrocious though, be prepared to either use public transport or park miles away.
  • Beautiful park, nice walk in the middle of busy area. Best picnic spot in the city.
  • Great park. Plenty of open space. Probably the best Bandstand in the area
  • Small but pleasant park. Location is a little out of the way and you can go around the thing in two minutes but still a fun and well kept park.
