The Peace Gardens are award-winning public gardens near the Winter Garden and within walking distance of the Millennium Galleries. Originally the churchyard of St Paul's church, which was built in the 18th century, this attraction is a must-see. The gardens form the central part of a spectacular walk, the emerging Gold Route, taking you from Sheffield Railway Station through a series of exciting new developments, each with their own distinctive lighting, public art, and fountains. Keep an eye out for numerous memorials for soldiers of Sheffield who served in various wars, such as the Spanish Civil War and the Korean War. You will also find a memorial to Hiroshima, a popular landmark. Explore the nearby museums, grab a relaxing drink in the cafes, or browse through the shops. • A beautiful environment and a good choice to visit in Sheffield. Has several waterfalls around leaving Nice location. I wouldn't say it is a "must see", but it's worth it!
