  • This is a great place to take young children. It has a unique 'block' which allows children to climb onto (king of the castle) and then slide down. There's plenty for older children and adults too but we haven't got there yet. My 5yo daughter loves it here and has been since she was 4. No substantial food available - just flapjack, chocolate bars etc at reasonable prices. Usual coffees & drinks available too.
  • Did an induction course which was good but knocked a star off because it didn't really tell you HOW to climb (three points on the wall at all times, etc) just LET you climb. For £20 I think it should have covered the basics of technique. Nice place with friendly people tho. Good experience. Well worth climbing here.
  • Really high quality routes/circuits that are changed regularly and set by some of the best route setters in the world. Very friendly staff who can often be seen climbing, if you're lucky you might even see a world champion! Great for beginners with excellent tuition.
  • Really nice bouldering centre with loads of really well set routes that are always fun and entertaining, you can tell the staff and setters reall care about climbing. Its also great for building strength and technique you can use for more confidence out in the peaks. If its your first time visiting this facility don't expect there to be loads of facility's, there is a small changing room/ toilets and disabled toilet, no showers, bar or steam room or anything like that, however they serve coffee and snaks everything from maciato to affogato, all in all makes for a very pure climbing experience at a good price 6.50 off peak and less for students.
  • The place is pretty good apart from the rude students who think they own the place. Especially the ones who, think they are more important because they are "good" climbers and just push in front of everyone else, who, might i add pay more than they do to use the facility.
