  • We do go to this museum at least once a year if not every two, as there is plenty for the kids to do and see, the downsides are that there could be a room that shows something different every so often...  more »
  • A very varied selection of exhibits from animals to fossils to ancient finds to art. There was also a lot of info on the local area. It was well laid out and well looked after.
  • I visited recently with my brother M and his two year old son R. We followed the advice from the museum's website and parked in the Q Park multi storey car park on Durham Road, which was just round th...  more »

  • Natural and social history for the Sheffield area with a guest exhibit rotating every few months. Entry is completely free but they suggest donations. Week days are quieter than weekends if you'd rather not be knee deep in excited children. Well worth an afternoon's look in
  • Great staff. Places to leave bags and buggy and also an indoor picnic area or there is the cafe if you want food out. Great displays that interest both children and adults.
  • A fantastic little yorkshire gem.. I called in while my child was in the hospital. He's only 2 but absolutely loved looking round and getting interactive with some of the exhibits..
  • Great FREE museum. Exhibits about Sheffield as well as guest exhibits and other very good displays. Brilliant little canteen, beautiful large grounds and a nice little shop with some local merchandise compliment the museum well. If you're in Sheffield then this is well worth a visit.
  • Free entry, interesting exhibits. Nice way to spend an hour or two.
