  • Excellent place to visit plenty of water sports good for cycling and generally having a good time. The children loved going Zorbing.
  • Cycled here along the Transpennine Trail. Not too commercialised. Good picnic area and small visitor area. Lots of water based activities available. Sculpture trail was disappointing (lack of sculptur...  more »
  • Loads of activity for the younger members of the family with the train ride & park. Older kids can have a go at the water sports. Near the cafe area there is a craft centre if kids would like to be cr...  more »

  • Fab location, free parking (nearby, not in the park, that's very expensive), free playground (over priced ice creams and cafe though). All on all its lovely. A fab, low cost, day out if you take a picnic. Oh and don't forget the cable ski :-D
  • £5 parking fees for all vehicles and medium to high prices for food ect. Expensive for a hour or two but parking is reasonable if you're there for a good few hours doing activities. I always enjoy my time here whether it riding a hired bike, walking or getting wet out on the water. Never had a bad experience. #GoodTimes
  • Great place to visit to be out doors. I go for mountain biking, but can do almost anything from walking to watersports. The carpark fills up fast but you can park up almost anywhere. Fee for parking is £5 per car. A little steep, but it goes towards up keep and paying wages, so can't complain.
  • Ideal for walking, cycling, jogging or going on the water. Pleasant surroundings with water grass and trees. £5 entry for a car. Cafe and little train. Many people come for the day to relax and unwind.
  • I have found this place to have gotten very expensive, we visited with the kids and it cost £7 to get our car in, the place was busyish but ok to do what we wanted to do, we decided to try the kids play area, this also cost money and topped it up by another 12 quid for 2 kids. we took a walk around the lakes but to be honest it very expensive to walk around when you have kids. i think next time we will go to clifton park and walk around there. there is more todo aswell
