  • This is the type of "covered market" that many other cities have either lost or dramatically "slimmed down." It is alway a delight to browse stalls selling buttons and trimmings for sewing - and there...  more »

  • A good place to chill in. The variety of household items isn't as huge as the range of groceries here. The food court is also pretty nice with many cuisines to choose from. Chinese, Takeaway, British Pies, Indian and more Chinese to choose from. Best time to visit is during afternoons, with all the locals gathering here and around the market. Very lively, both inside and outside.
  • Decent market. Nice variation of stalls. Few empty stalls but these will probably fill in time as it's still quite new. Well worth a visit.
  • I go to the Moor Market every week for the lovely fresh fruit, veg and eggs - all much better and much cheaper than in the supermarket.I've also been to the shoe repair stall which is really good value. There is a great selection of Mediterranean, Asian, Chinese, African and West Indian stalls full of new and interesting food. It's a superb representation of what makes Sheffield a friendly and multicultural city.
  • It's not a farmer's market but there is a wide range of foods and household stalls. The building is frustrating with crowded choke points due to the shape inside. At the side you there are only steps and at the bottom there are steps and a lift that's often out of order even though there's loads of space for a ramp. Also the feature beams above the back steps drip on you when it rains. The stallholders are friendly, though, and it's great for cheap fruit and veg. There's a good range of food stalls now too although again they're let down by the building design.
  • The first time I stepped into the Moor Market, I was amazed by how big it is. It has; if not over 45 individual stores with unique goods and (for me) foods. The are three entrance of which one of them is suitable for wheelchair and all other sort. The doors are mechanical and automatic which is good. Now on the stores inside. I was able to identify 7 different stores selling unique sets cloth (jeans, shirts and bag and handbags and man bag and even suitcase). Also, there was the electronic shop which I was delighted with by the way. In that shop you can fix, buy and sell your electronic gadgets. cool right. Now I simply cannot forgive myself if I did not talk about foods.
