  • Millennium Gallery is joined to the Sheffield winter garden and was next door to our hotel (Mercure St. Paul's). Free to visit, not as big as I'd imagined. A good collection of local artefacts and the...  more »

  • There is always something interesting in one of the galleries here, there's a cute little shop and free public toilets. It also adjoins the winter gardens, so is a great place to get out of the cold for a bit.
  • Nice gallery in the heart of the city next to the Winter Gardens. Very clean and bright, plus it's free to enter. A good mix of old and new. Regarding the new, some of the exhibits are for sale, and prices are given. However, it's not clear how you go about buying them.
  • Awesome exhibits that often showcase local talent, unfortunately they don't change too regularly. Great gift shop with loads of lovely non-tacky Sheffield souvenirs . It's free and also makes an wonderful shortcut to and from Arundel gate. PS. Toilets if you're looking for a free wee!
  • The museum of choice for me. Right next to the winter gardens and has some amazing local exhibitions. If you want to learn about some of the history of Sheffield, this is the place to go.
  • Realy good exihibits lots of modern contempory art too. Plenty of arts and crafts shops to see.
