  • If you like shopping malls, then this is one for you. I gave it five stars as it has everything all under one roof. It has excellent transport links, car, bus, train and tram. Its even yards from the nearby canal! Clean and bright and newly refurbished.
  • Whats not to love! Meadowhall is fabulous. The choice of shops is fantastic, the staff are lovely especially in The Disney Store. The food court is great, plenty of toilets/baby change, plenty of parking. Or for those who dont drive the train runs straight into the centre.
  • Currently undergoing a facelift/refurbishment. The old look and feel wasn't too bad and interested to see what they do with it. Can be very busy around holidays but typically plenty of space if visiting off peak. All of the shops/restaurants are chains so if you like that, then this is the place for you. If you prefer individually owned shops, you won't find them here.
  • I don't know what it is about Meadowhall but it just seems to have lost its pulse.. It now seems almost too large for itself. A very large number of shops in one place on papers sounds a great idea but in practice you end up thinking, I'd rather visit these shops but walk along the street and take in some fresh air. A good few of the nicer shops have sadly left or gone under. Obvious awol candidates include the F1 shop and a wonderful ice-cream shop that worked different flavours on a marble counter. You get the feeling that money is being spent and that change is in the air but for me personally, it feels like this shopping centre is a project of the 90s. Definitely worth a visit tho if you've never been before.. A lot of shops (mainly clothing) under one roof, it's just the place has little to no character..
  • Everyone knows Meadowhall. It's big, has plenty of parking (usually), a great choice of shops, and there are restaurants and a cinema inside too. There are rarely any closed outlets or maintenance work going on and it's generally nicely kept. Visiting close to Christmas or during January sales? It'll be really really busy so go in when you're feeling calm and have the time to - popping in for a quick couple of bits would be unwise!
