  • The best place to present the bright history of Sheffield being the city of steel. It is a really nice museum with a lot of illustrations and design to offer the visitors a full history of Sheffield as an industrial hub. And of course the steam machine is amazing!
  • Good museum showing off Sheffield's heritage. Wish it was a bit more interactive but loved the Steam engine show.
  • Museum showcasing Sheffield's industrial heritage. Has exhibitions on cutlery and Sheffield steel. Hosts a Victorian market at Christmas. Highlight is the Big Engine, the largest working steam engine in Europe.
  • A great museum showing much of the heritage of the Steel industry in Sheffield, it's an ideal way to learn of how Sheffield's main industry thrived and unfortunately had to ultimately move on. However, I would prefer personal stories of those that worked their, how they lived and survived.
  • Went to a beer festival there. Great location and atmosphere
