  • Love this park, love feeding the birds on the pond , the playground, the open space to play and walk, the walled garden is one of my favorite places anywhere, a real tranquil space hidden in a city. The only reason I've marked it down is lack of toilets, we have to drive there, it's not our local park and the number of times we've had to cut our visit short just because one of our party needed the loo is annoying, especially when you've set off with intentions to spend quite a few hours there.
  • It's not the biggest parks of Sheffield but a lovely place to walk your dog or just yourself. There's a pond that attracts birds from wide and afar. The 2 swans that reside there are especially worth a visit. Crown green bowling, tennis courts and a library with a nice kept gardens.
  • The perfect place to bring family with young children. The park includes a public library, duck pond and large play area. Onsite Parking is available albeit pay and display however the park is served by several bus and a tram stops.
  • Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, This place tends to be a place for dog owners to let their dogs off the lease. Some of them are irresponsible with it. I've stopped taking my kids here due to amount of times some dog has destroyed their ball. Not one of my favourite places to visit. The only good point is the spacious car park. Don't bother visiting especially on match days as you find priority given to supporters.
  • Lovely big open space. Welcomes dogs, but clean up after them. Has tennis courts. Great for sport activities. Very clean.
