  • Heeley City Farm is a wonderful place to visit with lots of animals and lots of seasonal events and do a lot of great work in the community and do sterling work for at-risk children and adults with learning disabilities. Please donate what you can to Heeley City Farm to help this great place and its work to continue. Thank you.
  • Very relaxed friendly place. Staff always happy to help nothing is too much trouble. Disabled friendly even though it's on a slight hill. Vegetarian/vegan cafe with various hot and cold options. A variety of cakes and flapjacks something for all tastes. You can walk round looking at the animals and birds, feed is available from the garden centre. A huge variety of summer bedding plants plus a wide range of perennials and shrubs are sold on the Garden Centre all year round. I highly recommend a visit the kids will love it as there's a small play area too. Though it caters for all ages and is open seven days a week
  • Great place to visit, free entry, ideal for children, nice cafe, great farmyard area with all types of farm animals with pigs, horses, cattle, sheep and goats as well as the small exotic animals in their small animal house with snakes, tarantula 's, snails, lizards as well as rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and more. Very friendly and helpful staff, garden centre has a good range of very reasonably priced plants and shrubs, a great place to visit and a green oasis hidden away just under a mile from the city centre, easily reached on public transport or by car and is about 20 minutes walk from the city's bus and train station.
  • We've been coming to HCF for years with our kids. It's a well-run establishment and our children love it. They also recently provided the catering for a party we threw. The food was tasty, varied and good value. I recommend them.
  • We love it here. Feels like you're not really in the city even though you are. Great place to bring kids.
