  • Really great now that's it's been refurbished. Lovely outdoor seating and a good size inside. Prices are good too. Obviously it gets super busy especially in the summer. A great place for a coffee while the kids run around in the playground or chase the ducks!
  • Plenty of pleasant helpful staff who work hard so not left waiting too long. Very good food, you can sit inside or outside or take your food away and sit around the lake on benches or in the playground while your children play. There are also items for children and adults in the cafe to keep them occupied while waiting it having coffee.
  • Being visiting this place since I easy a young child, then with my children. It's been fun seeing it evolve to a very busy popular cafe. Very informal with dog walkers, young families and older people. It has grown from a very basic ' shed' to a warm cafe with good food and cakes.
  • Excellent fish finger sandwiches and cheesy chips. Parsnip and pecan cake was a great discovery. Next to a good playground for kids and good walking out into peak district.
  • Excellent location, food is good. Great to sit outside in the sun.
